About me

Hey, I’m Davidzo.

I’m a UX designer and researcher who came to this field via an unusual route; clinical psychology, psychometric assessment, and two years living and teaching in South Korea. That path wasn’t accidental. I’ve always been more interested in understanding people than in making things look good, and it turns out that’s a pretty useful quality in this field.

The psychology background means I ask different questions in research. I’m drawn to the why behind behaviour; why users hesitate, why they lose confidence mid-flow, why the words we choose on a screen matter more than the visual design around them. That curiosity shapes everything I do.

Outside of work, I’m most alive when I’m somewhere unfamiliar. Two years in Korea taught me how to navigate discomfort, build trust across language barriers, and find clarity in contexts where nothing is obvious. These are skills I use in research rooms more often than you’d think.

If you’re building something where getting the user experience right matters, I’d love to talk.
